Production & Inventory Planner/Coordinator

The “ideal candidate” skill sets:

  Detail oriented

  Understand inventory and job costing/cost accounting

  Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software

  Exceptional organization and planning skills

  Analytical thinking and mindset

  Excellent communication and problem solving abilities

  Above average spreadsheet and report creating capabilities

 Primary Responsibilities:

  Collaborate with all departments to plan, schedule, and coordinate work flow to maintain optimum levels of product inventory

  Create and maintain Item Master information

  Review production and inventory costing records for accuracy

  Analyze shortage reports, enter work orders, bill of materials, and shop routings

  Set up inventory planners, perform physical counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile weekly inventory cycle counting 

  • Compiles data and creates reports on work progress, costs, inventory levels & production efficiencies and team's performance

  Assists with some purchasing responsibilities as needed

• Occassional back-up support to customer service team as needed             

Production & Assembly

We are currently seeking employees for first shift to learn and perform a variety of skill sets requiring detailed eye and hand coordination using both hand and power tools.  Candidates must be able to read, comprehend, and consistently follow work instructions and procedures. The company is willing to provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates who have a great work ethic, possess a stable work history and enjoy working in a team environment but also have the ability to work independently.

Work stations are rotated regularly and consist of soldering, assembly, gluing, buffing, washing, QC inspection, and other duties as needed. Physical demands require some standing, sitting, walking, bending, stretching, and light lifting of 2 to 10 lbs with occasional repetitious hand movements.
